"Software for Locating a Nearest Rectangular Polynomial Matrix with a Prescribed Eigenvalue.", is a joint work with Professor Emre Mengi, Professor Paul Van Dooren, Assoc. Prof. Vanni Noferini and Dr. Lauri Nyman. Given a rectangular matrix polynomial, we estimate the distance to a nearest rectangular polynomial with an eigenvalue under general complex perturbations, as well as more restricted set of real perturbations.
